Get plugged into a Home Bible Study!
Currently OGBF has multiple home Bible study/fellowship groups meeting in the greater Redding and Palo Cedro/Millville area. The focus of these groups, as their name implies, is a time of in-depth Bible study coupled with a time of prayer and fellowship. These groups are lead by the host families and usually have one or more of our men leading the teaching time.
These groups offer more more than just a time of teaching, however: they are Oak Grove's front line ministry to our church family members and others within our community. By coming together on a weekly basis, families get to know one another on a more personal level than just meeting at church on Sunday morning. As they grow to care for and love one another, they share in one another’s joys and sorrows, victories and defeats. When there are needs to be met, most often that need is met through members of our fellowship groups. They are a place where people are loved, nurtured, and strengthened to live each day for our Savior Jesus Christ. If you are alone and desire Christian fellowship, whether you attend Oak Grove or not, you are most welcome to come and join the warmth of love that is at the heart of our home fellowship groups.
