“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” – Philippians 4:6
We are One in the Spirit, We are One in the Lord
"For though I am absent in body, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good order and the firmness of your faith in Christ." - Col. 2:5
Starting in the month of August, 2020, we are going to move to a "hybrid" format of meeting in person together and meeting from home in small group format. As of now, the goal is to meet the first and third Sundays in person, and meet in small groups/from home the other weeks between. Continue to check the OGBF Facebook, our COVID-19 page, or send us an an email to ensure you are included on the regular update emails.
When meeting from home, we are encouraging a kind of “guided at-home service” that individuals, families, or small groups can do together. There will be three parts to the service:
First, there will be study questions to lead you in study, prepared by whoever would be teaching/preaching that week (1 Tim. 4:12-13)
Second, there will be suggested songs with lyrics that complement the study (Eph. 5:19, Col. 3:16)
Third, we will be providing some specifics to focus on in prayer. (1 Tim. 2:8)
All of this will be available on the website by Saturday evening each week. Just follow the links in the right-hand column of this page for each week to find links to the study guides (to download and print), songs to sing (lyrics and/or lyric videos provided for each), and prayer guides.
